Dulles International Airport (IAD)

Dulles Airport is approximately 30 miles form the Hilton Alexandria Mark Center. There is not a hotel shuttle so please make alternative transportation arrangements.

IAD Ground Transportation
Cabs can cost upwards of $50 from Dulles Airport. Two of the least expensive modes of transportation from Dulles are the Super Shuttle and bus service to the Metro. To take the Metro you will need to buy a ticket (one-way or round-trip) at the Washington Flyer Coach ticket counter located at Arrivals Door #4 in the Main Terminal. You will also board the Coach at this location. The buses depart approximately every 30 minutes but please listen for announcements for exact bus departure times. The bus will take you to the West Falls Church Metro station. You may purchase a Metrorail fare card inside the Metro station. Take the Orange line train bound for New Carrollton transfer trains at L'Enfant Plaza. Board the Yellow line train bound for Huntington and get off at Pentagon City. You can catch the hotel shuttle at the Pentagon City Metro Station.

Baltimore/Washington International (BWI)

BWI Airport is approximately 40 miles from the Hilton Alexandria Mark Center.

BWI Ground Transportation
COne of the least expensive ways to travel from BWI Airport is to take the MARC train. You can take the free shuttle to the BWI Rail Station, exit at Union Station, take the Red line Metro bound for Shady Grove or Grosvenor, transfer trains at Gallery Place Chinatown, from there board the Yellow Huntington and exit at the Pentagon City Metro Station, then hop on the free Hotel shuttle.
