Workshop Information

Ecumenical Advocacy Days offer participants a variety of workshops focused on domestic and international social justice concerns. Traditionally the workshops have been organized by 'track'. The 2009 conference workshop will be organized in a new format blending the traditional track structure with a more flexible program.

The 2009 workshops will be arranged by topic, region, and issue. Participants are free to attend any workshops in which they are interested. Participants are no longer asked to attend workshops in a particular track.

Topics: Climate Change (conference theme), Migration, Immigration & Displacement, and Poverty & Development

Region: Africa, Asia-Pacific, Latin America, Middle East, and the United States (Domestic)

Issue: Eco-Justice, Global Economic Justice, and Peace & Global Security

What else is new? The 2009 program will include workshops hosted by our Sponsoring organizations and denominations on Saturday afternoon from 2-3:30pm. These workshops will be a continuation from the denomination lunches, member meetings, and/or discussion of legislative priorities for the organization or denomination. Details will be provided in the Conference Program. Conference Programs will be included in the registration packet.

"The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly." John 10:10
