Special General Theme Workshop Offered at EAD 2011

 

  • Gender and Faith:  What’s Power Got to Do with It?

    Through this interactive session, participants will delve into practical and theoretical questions about power.  From Scripture to gender to advocacy — what is going on in relationship to power dynamics?  Led by National Council of Churches Justice for Women Working Group and partners, this session will cover rudimentary gender theory, scriptural insight on power, and a practical process to evaluate power dynamics in advocacy work.  The framework engaged in this workshop will complement all other track workshops.

    This Workshop will be offered at each of the four workshop sessions. 

    This informative workshop is offered by the National Council of Churches –Justice for Women Working Group.  It is not related to any specific issue area, but will compliment all workshops.
