Countering Islamophobia: Women in Islam and the Middle East
Come explore the role of women as leaders and peacemakers in the Muslim world, and specifically in the Middle East. Hear from second-generation American Muslim women leaders about the importance of terminology and cultural context, the participation of women in society, and the role of women right now in ensuring security, peace, and development.
