Young Adults

This year's Ecumenical Advocacy Days has again prioritized bringing young adults (ages 18-35), students and seminarians together to strengthen the progressive religious movement! This event is designed to educate and empower grassroots religious advocates to speak out to their political leaders on policies that impact our world. There will be special times in the schedule for education, advocacy training, theological reflection, ecumenical engagement, and young adult fellowship and networking.

Cost-Cutting Ideas
We understand one of the obstacles to attending the conference may be cost. Consider these cost–cutting ideas:

  1. Register Early – You will save $15 if you register before February 13th.
  2. Ask your local church for partial or full support. Offer to give a presentation on what you learned when you return.
  3. Travel in groups – Sharing gas costs for flying with companion fare will save!
  4. Stay in groups. Book a room with 2 double beds and split it between 2–4 people. (Note: Advocacy Days is not responsible for pairings and all roomshares must be coordinated on your own.)
  5. Fundraise with your student groups on campus or in your congregation.

Scholarship Information

Limited scholarships will be available, based on need. These scholarships will only apply to partial or full waivers of the registration fee, but will not apply to transportation or food costs. There may be additional scholarships available based on denominational affiliation.

To apply, email your name, phone number, home congregation and denomination, amount you anticipate needing, a brief paragraph about the reason why you would like to attend Advocacy Days and why you are applying for scholarship assistance. Please submit these requirements to scholarships@advocacydays.org.
