Hotel Shuttle
The hotel offers a free shuttle service to and from Ronald Reagan International Airport and Pentagon City Metro station. 

One of the easiest ways to get around town is by using the area’s subway system, the Metro. Maps and trip planning information are available on the WMATA website. The nearest Metro line to the Doubletree Hotel is the Yellow Line, accessible from the Pentagon City station or the Crystal City station.

Dash is the bus service for the City of Alexandria. Dash buses connect with the Metro and all local bus services.

Things to Do

Historic Old Town Alexandria
Visit the shops and restaurants in Old Town Alexandria. Take the hotel shuttle to King Street Metro station, hop on the free Dash bus and head down to Old Town’s waterfront for shopping and dining at a variety of restaurants.

Downtown Washington, D.C.
Explore the nation’s Capital and its many theaters, restaurants, and monuments. There are several nighttime tours available by bike, segway, tourmobile, or walking. Take the hotel shuttle to the Pentagon City Metro Station and take the Metro to the stop closest to your destination.

EAD’s National Gathering often coincides with part of the National Cherry Blossom Festival, providing opportunities to see and learn more about D.C.’s most famous trees.
