WASHINGTON –  During a week where we sit down together at the Thanksgiving table, Christian awareness reminds us that At God’s Table, where the least are given preference (Luke 14), we are called to seek Food Justice for a Healthy World.  As we give thanks for the many blessings God has bestowed in our lives, EAD advocates are encouraged to reflect upon EAD’s 2013 Theme over the Thanksgiving weekend, and commit now as part of your Christian stewardship and discipleship to join 1,000 Christian advocates in seeking Food Justice in April 5-8, 2013.

EAD is also thrilled to launch a fresh and redesigned website highlighting a more effective communications strategy as we build towards the April 5-8, 2013 national gathering in Washington, DC.!!!  Our new website – AdvocacyDays.org – designed and hosted by DC-based Perisphere Media, now has even more information about confirmed and invited speakers who will be present at the April 2013 gathering, workshops being planned, and many other additions to the new EAD website.
