January 27, 2014

workshop-highlightIn addition to renowned plenary speakers John Dear, Dr. Maryann Cusimano Love, and Rev. Dr. J. Herbert Nelson (with more to come!), EAD is pleased to announce an array of over 50 workshops built around the theme of our 12th Annual National Gathering weekend in March, Jesus Weeps: Resisting Violence, Building Peace. With early registration ending in less than a month, you’ll want to take advantage of the cost savings and book your conference registration and hotel room soon to be part of our 2014 event. Our National Gathering will draw over 700 Christian advocates and friends from around the country to seek a vision of peace in the community, peace among the peoples, peace in the marketplace, and peace with the earth. We’ll also seek to put that vision into action during our annual Lobby Day on Capitol Hill.

Our high-impact weekend will again provide multiple opportunities for workshops and breakouts built around our common theme that will strengthen our Christian voice and advocacy for justice around specific U.S. and international policy issues.
