#EAD2020 Welcomes Archbishop Mark MacDonald to the Pulpit

Ecumenical Advocacy Days is excited to announce that the Most Reverend Mark MacDonald will preach at our Sunday morning Ecumenical Worship Service, April 26, 2020.

Archbishop Mark MacDonald assumed office as the Anglican Church of Canada’s first National Indigenous Anglican Bishop after serving for about 10 years as bishop of the U.S. Episcopal Diocese of Alaska where he was consecrated bishop on September 13, 1997. He has had a long and varied ministry, holding positions in Mississauga, Ontario, Duluth, Minnesota; Tomah and Mauston, Wisconsin; Portland, Oregon; and the southeast regional mission of the Diocese of Navajoland.

In 2019, the general synod of the Anglican Church of Canada bestowed the title of Archbishop upon Mark MacDonald. In the life of the ecumenical church, he currently serves as the World Council of Churches President for North America.
