Dear EAD Community,

The Ecumenical Advocacy Days Leadership Team joins in concern and prayer for all those around the world whose health and livelihoods are being impacted by the novel Coronavirus, COVID-19. We are closely monitoring the situation closely and will defer to recommendations, and/or directives from the Public Health Community. As of the release of this post, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) assess the health risk from COVID-19 to the general public in the U.S. as low.

With that in mind, #EAD2020 will proceed as scheduled, and we will simultaneously develop a contingency plan and work with our venue on ways to ensure public health during the event. We are stepping out with faith and look forward to seeing you join us #EAD2020. Should a reassessment of that decision be necessary, we will provide that information in a timely way. In the meantime, please make plans to “Imagine! God’s Earth and People Restored!” We are looking forward to seeing you all April 24-27, 2020.
