Dear EAD Community: It is with great regret that I announce the cancellation of the #EAD2020 in-person gathering, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Please keep in mind that cancelling the in-person event does not mean that our hearts and minds will not gather together in an ongoing ecumenical movement for global peace with justice. A team of #EAD2020 planners are currently exploring some ideas for our continued collaboration and advocacy, so please stay tuned.
As we continue to plan for the future, please mark your calendar for our next Ecumenical Advocacy Days, April 16-19, 2021.
If you registered for #EAD2020, you should have received a separate email with details about registration refunds and reminders to cancel travel plans. If you believe you registered, but did not receive an email from me through Eventbrite, please be in touch by email.
If you made a reservation at the Doubletree Hotel in the EAD room block, YOU must call and cancel it at 1-800-222-8733 (TREE). There is no feature that allows EAD planners to cancel reservations en masse, so to avoid no-show fees, please cancel your reservations and instruct colleagues and guests to do the same.
I can’t express my gratitude to each of you for your support of Ecumenical Advocacy Days and to all those who have been working hard to put together an exciting program to make Ecumenical Advocacy Days a success. I trust that by faith and hope, our work together will carry on. For now, stay “physically distant” and keep healthy.
Sincerely,
Leslie Woods
EAD Director
