John Johnson will serve as emcee for the Ecumenical Advocacy Days 2023 virtual event April 25-27, 2023.

John B. Johnson, IV has served as the Program Director, Domestic Policy for the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) in Washington, DC since 2014. He has lived in DC since 1993 and has served two U.S. senators, worked for the U.S. Small Business Administration, and was a domestic policy analyst for the Episcopal Church before going to Washington National Cathedral to work in development. He later was an entrepreneur as a consultant starting his own business before joining the ELCA. John is a lifelong Episcopalian and has been a member of St. Thomas’ Parish in Washington for nearly 30 years, serving in multiple leadership roles. John loves to cook, entertain and travel. He loves new restaurants in Washington and elsewhere. He loves returning to his family and roots in South Georgia.
