Mennonite. Studied philosophy, theology and a master’s degree in political theology at the Javeriana University in Bogotá, Colombia. Continued complementary studies in institutional and community management, digital journalism and citizenship. Specialist in virtual education.
He served as Deputy Director of the Social Action program of the “Open and Distance University” of the Javeriana University. During this time, he coordinated the 17 regional centers of the university, verifying the Peace Culture impact of its students. Later he acted as coordinator for the “Society Builders” program at the Episcopal Conference of Colombia. Also, he performed as Executive Secretary of the National Commission for Conciliation, a project to build the Minimums of Peace and reconciliation for the peace dialogues between the Colombian government and the FARC guerrilla movement. Currently he is the Executive Director of Justapaz.
