Ntama Bahati

Policy Analyst, African Faith and Justice Network

Ntama Bahati will serve as moderator for our EAD 2024 Spring Summit international workshop, ““Reforming the UN Security Council: Bridging Gaps for Global Inclusion.” Bahati has been a Policy Analyst with Africa Faith and Justice Network since 2007.  He holds an undergraduate degree in Philosophy (2000) from La Ruzizi in Bukavu/DRC, a Masters of Divinity (2006), and Masters of Arts in Ethics (2007) from Catholic Theological Union in Chicago. Mr. Bahati is a  thoughts leader, tested and proven on fighting against corruption from the bottom up, Agro-colonialism and mental and spiritual decolonization in Africa. Since joining AFJN in 2007, he has written and spoken in different circles across the US on DR Congo, Rwanda, Uganda and Burundi ’ social, economic and political issues.  Since 2014, Bahati has successfully implemented AFJN’s Land Grabbing Prevention and Responsible Investment project in Ghana. He is the author of many articles including “Tribe not an Idea, but a True Identity” published in Recherches Africaines. L’Afrique et son vécu vol. 21-22. He is the co-author of “Promoting International Support for Community-Based Justice Mechanisms in Post-Conflict Burundi and Uganda (2009).
