Rev. Noel Andersen

National Field Director, Church World Service

Rev. Noel Andersen will speak at our EAD 2024 Spring Summit domestic workshop. He is the National Field Director for Church World Service where he has developed a national network of faith communities taking action in solidarity with immigrants and refugees. He is ordained in the United Church of Christ (UCC) and is the lead organizer and co-founder of the UCC National Collaborative on Immigration, a grassroots network of UCC leaders taking action for immigrants’ rights. He has worked for a number of non-profit organizations in Central America and on the U.S.- Mexico border focusing on community development, education and community organizing. He was instrumental in creating a Refugee Leadership Development for Social Change project at CWS that has trained thousands of refugees in community organizing.
