2026 National Gathering

Protecting People, Peace and Planet
April 20-22, 2026 | WASHINGTON, D.C.
In 2026, our nation faces massive upheaval and multiple crises of our own making. Our democracy is under attack as civil liberties and institutions are sacrificed to the idols of wealth and power. Across the country, our immigrant and refugee neighbors are targeted, the right to protest is threatened, and families live under constant threat of detention and deportation. Millions of Americans are losing healthcare and other essential services while our government funds Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and the Pentagon at historically high levels, even as nuclear weapon treaties expire and wars rage on in Gaza, Ukraine, Sudan, and elsewhere. Finally, and perhaps most urgently, we face the existential threat of climate change and increased natural disasters while our government undermines principles of creation care by cutting funds for the EPA, FEMA, and ending other environmental protections.
Given the many challenges we face, it is critical that people of faith come to Washington D.C. to raise our voices to Congress. Psalm 24 declares that the Earth is the Lord’s and everything in it – a reminder that creation is not ours to exploit but God’s gift to be received with gratitude and shared with generosity. Because we are all recipients of this sacred gift, we are bound to one another in responsibility: to our immigrant neighbors, to those losing healthcare, to communities on the frontlines of climate disasters, and to the generations who will inherit what we leave behind.
Join us in Washington D.C., April 20-22, 2026, as we draw on our shared faith traditions to inspire and strengthen our call to Congress to commit to Protecting People, Peace, and Planet! Through worship, workshops, and a lobby day, we will bring together a diverse group of Christians to remind Congress of our responsibility to care for all that belongs to the Lord: People, Peace, and Planet. Register today!
Scholarships are available for young adults (18 to 35), or those with limited incomes. Apply here.
